You can now download the novel for free: visit http://rcanepa.net/writing/nortons-ghost/ and click on the link up top.
If you haven’t seen it yet, there’s a give-away going on now for copies of the book on goodreads.com. It runs until February 26th.
Some reviews are beginning to trickle in, as well, and you can find them on the book’s main page: Norton’s Ghost at GoodReads.com.
Most of my blogging occurs over at http://rcanepa.net, with updates on Norton’s Ghost and a whole lot more, including some flash fiction stories. Why don’t you take a look?
Take a look if you have an account there. If you don’t, it’s a good way to find out about new books through peers.
I’m happy to report that Norton’s Ghost (ISBN 978-0-9843454-0-3) is now available. Please see How To Get The Book for details. In short:
- email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to get on the borrow list
- I have local copies on hand for $13 or sliding scale. Contact me if you live in the Gainesville area, and we can arrange local delivery and payment to save shipping
- the book is trickling through the distribution channels. This happened sooner than its even supposed to, so expect availability to increase over the next 4-8 weeks. For now: BarnesAndNoble.com (ships in 24 hours), amazon.com (ships in 1-3 weeks)
If you could gather effort, could concentrate it until it condensed into a tangible thing, this is what it might look like:
I don’t have an exact date yet, but let me tell you: this thing is so close. We’re looking at a direct availability late January / Early February. Availability through Amazon, B&N and others is still TBD.
I’ve cleared one delay after another, and now it’s go time. This is it.
I hate to put it off, but now is the best time for a break. The print copy is about ready to send off for printing–an event that will be both joyous and free up some of my time to devote to the podcast.
There’s a lot of good story coming up. Stay tuned and see you in the new year.
The podcast will be going on a short break until December, 28th. This will give me a chance to finish up a few other things in my queue, including getting the print copy of Norton’s Ghost sent off for printing and getting the podcast distributed to a wider audience.
Part Two of the story is just around the corner, and I’m excited about sharing everything that’s coming up. Meeting some friends, a home (of sorts) to call his own (if only for a time), a helpful but mysterious stranger, getting on the wrong side of a drug dealer, a city of wonders, a rather interesting person of the opposite sex. The story just gets better as you go along.
Will you stay with Kyle? Will you go where he goes?
